Jade Supremacy - Taishang (Safe 0 Diamond Clear)

Greetings Brother Knights and Ladies of the Court,

Here is a relatively safe configuration of how to beat Jade Taishang with 0 diamonds.
The team I am about to scribe is a grind team, will take about an hour to clear, but it’s relatively safe.

The team
Leader/Ally: Taurus/Domon and Pr Idun Ally

Crucial Followers: Pr Verd

Other filler followers: Lubu (for faster clearance), Pr Cancer (faster Clear), Any heart rune converter eg. Changxi or instead of a heart converted you can also go - PKOD (sacrificing safety for a faster clear see below).

The alternative to Changxi (or healing converters) would be PKOD for his finishing move. This will speed things up and you would most likely clear in under 30 mins. But by removing a healing converter for PKOD will mean a level of risk at Stage 5.

Note: Don't worry if you dont have Lubu or Cancer, you can still clear it but it will take longer (probably twice or trice as long!). You simply need to sub in other healing rune converters for emergency heals. In this case you can include PKOD to speed things up.

Ideally at least 10k hps or more.


The fight:

S1: 2 x Schema Beasties
Spin and stall here until all cds are ready.

S2: 1 x Power Turtle
He has 800k defence but only 22 hps. He also doubles his attack every round. So it's not safe to hang around. Activate PR verd to finish him instantly.

S3: 1 x Karis Witchdoctor and 2 x Onion Minions
When you first enter the stage, activate lubu to reduce their hp by 30% and then activate pr cancer to take another 250k off. This will kill off the minions immediately.
Grind and heal as per normal. Make sure all cds are up before departing for the next stage. Use heart converter if u must.
Note: Karis stops group attacks. ie. making a set of 5 runes will render that colour useless in attack.

S4: 1 x Yang the Shapeshifter
Again same combo, activate Lubu and Cancer to reduce his hp and then activate pr verd and heal up. Make sure you heal sufficiently here to avoid the skull icon.
Note that he will reflect 15% hp. Take note of this because yang hits hard. (7k+ and that's after reduction from Domon/Taurus) Do not perform an all out attack on the turn he is attacking or you may just end up getting killed by him.

If possible save up some healing runes for the next stage if possible. (if not, its no biggy either)

S5: 1 x Mufasa and 1 x Pluma
This is the key stage for this setup. If you survive this it means you will almost certainly clear this fight (baring a silly mistake)
These beasties will deduct 40% off your hp each and with 2 of them it's 80% every turn! Damage reduction doesn't work here as its not an attack.
So the tactic here is to: Activate PR Verd and try your best to get 3 stacks up as soon as you can. PR verd 3 stacks and Idun = 7k+ hp recovery a turn. Its not quite 80% so you will need to burst some healing gems every turn to make up since most of us would have hps around 11 to 13k+ mark.
The key here is to make sure you heal up to max hp or close to max hp every turn!
Use PR Iduns active and Changxi when required, especially at the beginning so you can get to 3 stacks.
activate Lubu and cancer at the start if possible and whenever their cds become available. If you think you can't heal to 80% on that turn obviously don't activate them!

Grind until they die. Once one beastie is gone. it becomes much easier. Target the light bird first as it dies quicker with this setup.

S6: 1 x Demon Bull King
Need 10 or more combos to even put a dent on the Demon King!
Luckily you are on a defensive setup. the usual combo - Lubu then cancer, and PR verd to steal his hps every turn.

Try and make as many combos as you can and hope that skydrops will let you get pass 10 combos. This just speeds things up, its not like you hit hard or anything so don't worry too much if you can't get 10 combos. Your main attacker will be PR verd, Lubu and Cancer.

Rinse Repeat Lubu and Cancer's active on the turn that hes not attacking and heal up so he can't destroy you on the next turn.


S7: 1 x Taishang
You finally made it here. Taishang has a 15 point shield. It's not an issue for defensive setup like this. Activate Lubu straight up to reduce his hp by 30%. Then activate PR verd. DO NOT activate cancer until you have managed to hit him 15 times via spinning. After that activate cancer and spin normally till he drops  


Safe but grindy clear.

Guys take note of how he saves enough runes Before timing of his burst. Also his use of pr verd on S4 to not upset the board setup is another great play as well.

thanks ear. all in all not a particularly difficult sm, as only s5 needs a burst (for about 600k; or many many rounds of healing). The rest of the rounds are basically covered by pr verdandi.
