List your favourite movies!
Let's say I'm on a movie spree recently.
So what are some of your favourite movies?
I'm a sucker for war & political action/thrillers shows so here's a list:
1. Saving Private Ryan (personal favourite)
2. Black Hawk Down (love the action mainly)
3. Enemy at the Gates
4. We were Soldiers
5. The Hurt Locker
6. The Pianist
7. Green Zone
8. The Kingdom
9. Jarhead
10. Olympus has fallen
Oh and my favourite actors are Jamie Foxx & Danzel Washington! So I've watched most of their movies (post year 2000).
What are some of your favourites? List away!

Re: List your favourite movies!
My choices are quite varied... But here is my list. They are "roughly" in order.
1. Schindler's List
2. A.I. Artificial Intelligence
3. Azur and Asmar: The Princes' Quest
4. Forrest Gump
5. The Last Samurai
6. How to Train Your Dragon
7. Ratatouille
8. Summer Wars
9. The Blind Side
10. Inception
11. Finding Nemo
There's some other ones that I need to recall, but those are some for now. I couldn't take off 'Finding Nemo'. It's not one I can easily take off, so I also included it.

Indeed. Though as a kid, I could see a bit more beyond the plot, and that's why I can't take it off. There's just too many emotions I feel when it comes to that movie that I can never take it off my list, no matter when it's ranked.
Plus, my list is "roughly" ranked...

Haha Sweeney Todd! I too like that movie! If only the music's more dramatic it'd have one of my favorites heh. My favorite depp movie still has to be Edward Scissors hands but thinking back it's probably due to it being different from other movies during my time. I really loved depp in that movie.
You have a nice list Kenna, has some of them in my list too, during their time.. Schindler List is your favorite? Well gotta check that out.

I remember Saving Private Ryan. That was a really good movie. It's a bit lower in my list, but one of my favorites as well.
My list changes a lot, so if you ask me again later, it'll probably be different because I'm still trying to remember some of my childhood favorites as well. Schneider's List is sad, but touching in my opinion.

Maouinin I'm big fan of Rocky! I still have its limited edition video cd in my collection (just for collection hehe). But I didn't like 6 that much myself.
I'm gonna check intouchables, review looks good too.
On my list to watch:
Schindler's list
Nemo (rewatch)
Intouchables
Any other recommendations?

Ah, The Conjuring.
It's a documentary-ish horror movie, the types I'm interested in. It's wasn't bad, a bit creepy. but depends on how scared you are of stuff like that.
I really recommend A.I. besides Schindler's List.
Those two are my favorites... One's a childhood classic and the other's really touching.

American History X!! I used to watch that show without knowing the title and when I wanted to watch it again (few years back) I had to figure out the title for a few months before finally finding out, definitely and Edward Norton classic, I'm not a fan of that man tho lol. Heh God of Cookery, I used to watch all Stephen Chow's movies, only those before his big block busters, with Wu Meng Tat always playing 2nd fiddle, the God of Gamblers series especially.
I'm probably gonna check out ghost dog.

Re: List your favourite movies!
Not gonna check out 12 Angry Men then? lol
Lumet's classic, was shot in a single take, ambitious in those days
I used to be able to recite dialogue from God of Cookery, that's often I watched it
Ghost Dog is real wacky and surreal. KK should watch that! Right after that, I actually tracked down a copy of Hagakure. Was a pretty dry read though lol

Not in my list to watch tho lol. Well I might once I'm done with my list. Heh. God of cookery IMO is the first of Stephen's 'series' of block busters. I still prefer his older movies. Jokes are funnier lol
