[Strategy] Valley of Cryptids
Not really a High Level stage perhaps
I did crack my head trying to figure out how to best match my def-busting cards to a suitable lead with damage enhancing abilities
What I finally ended up with was ... going 'old school'
Fox (leader) + Verdandi + Urd + Skuld + Valkyrie + PKoE (ally)
They're all max Level with Verdandi and Skuld at max CD.
Surprisingly, I've yet to PR any of them, still holding on to my materials (procrastination or just love the card art, I can't explain)
I'm not sure if Idun would be better than Skuld, had some hairy moments needing hearts. But the latter helped me burst through.
Anyway, going back to the Battle:
Stage 1 and 2
You must store CDs... must must must must must must. Naturally, Urd was the most painful.
The passive with Fates does mean you've got some decent firepower, which can be dangerous when stalling.
I blew by Stage 2 by accident, killed the Griffin but the damage from Baphomet was kinda rough for a low HP Fates team. Spun a bit too many to get HP back... looked at Urd and wanted the wring the swan's neck
Stage 3
Tried to compensate a turn by letting Ra hit me once. Then activated Verdandi and healed back from the runes on the board.
Stage 4
Took down 1 Honeymon, was hoping for both. The team's fragile though and just about took the 2 hits. Down the other, healed. Then again for the last. Recovery's great so yay.
Stage 5
Capitalised on the great recovery yet again to let Sirius take a chomp out of me and get a few turns under my belt. He started at CD1 though, so umm maybe I didn't quite 'let him' than he'd do so anyway...
Stage 6
The starting CDs were 2 and 1 for the side wolves. Sirius at, well, I don't remember. Just activated Valkyrie, targeted wolf 1, and Sirius just went to doggy heaven. Wolf 1 hit me, I activated Urd, and double time-tunneled him away. The lone wolf should have just ran away tail between its legs...
Stage 7
That shimmering mess in the middle of the screen? That trick's been employed by the entertainment industry for years, who wouldn't know there's something there? Romulans, the Predators, *yawn*. Meet Mr Paladin King of Earth.
Stage 8
Profit

Re: [Strategy] Valley of Cryptids
Pretty much copied Devilfishy's strategy from the forum:
(Leader) PR Idun - Max
Tulzscha - Max (used because had a quicker CD than my PKoE)
PR Urd - Level 90
Isabelle - Max
Odin - Max (used for the HP)
(Ally) Wukong - Max
Possible dangers are stage 2 / 4 if you don't have enough HP to tank being hit by all mobs at the same CD. I didn't face this issue - so cannot comment.
Stage 1 - Stall as much as possible for CDs
Stage 2 - I had different CDs for each so easy recovery each round
Stage 3 - Tulzscha
Stage 4 - Isabelle + Idun to get enough time to kill one
Stage 5 - CD 2 means easy to recover. Make sure CDs are up
Stage 6 - Tulzscha on solar sirius, Kill the right side wolf. Use Urd / Isabelle if required. Make sure CDs are up for Tulzscha.
Stage 7 - Tulzscha

Re: [Strategy] Valley of Cryptids
Lost two times 'cause of bad luck.
First time skydrops did not let me stall CD in the first stages so I was lost in stage 3.
Second time only two hearts on the board when I needed three.
'Cause of this I swaped my Sean with GSoF.
Team to beat it:
PKoE, Valkyrie, PKoF, GSoF, Urd, Daji (Ally)
Stage 1 + 2:
Stall CD as much as you can. One of the oneshooters has to be ready at stage 3.
Stage 3:
PKoF - got it.
Stage 4:
Used Daji - killed all at once.
Stage 5:
Needed GSoF to have enough hearts - no problem with good RCR and hearts.
Stage 6:
Activate Valk to kill the Sirius. After first hits used Urd to buy time. Kill 50% shield wolf fast.
Stage 7:
PKoE - finished.
Had to use GSoF several times. CD of 5 helped a lot.

Re: [Strategy] Valley of Cryptids
Failed at this two times already, such a pain to stall CD with a rainbow team, totally not used to it hahah.
I was using: PKoE, Urd, PR Idun, Valk, Skuld, Daji (ally).
I might wanna reconsider the setup to bring out some colours.. I'm thinking:
PKoE, Circe, Urd, Valk, Valk/Isabel (?), Daji
The above just tri-colour instead of the standard rainbow.
What do you guys think?

Re: [Strategy] Valley of Cryptids
I suceeded with Pr Idun (ld) max , Isabell (lv59) cd 20, ird (max) cd 22, santa (max) cd 15, pkoe (max) cd 18 and Pkoe ally.
You really just need one pkoe, prolly better to go with a damage enhancer like circe or a burst card or something. (This to clear stage four)
Stage 1 kill the beasties leaving only 1 and stall for as long as you can.
Stage 2 stall until all cds are max (helps if you kill one off first)
Stage 3 snipe with pkoe (instant deathblow)
Stage 4 Probably the toughest stage for this setup. Your cds need to be max at this point or you die, its as simple as that.
Freeze with ird or spider. Either one is fine. Activate Circe (or any burst card) if you have her (i didnt take her) Use Santas TT to kill 2 before freeze ends.
Kill the third one normally by spinning. Snipe with Pkoe as required.
Stage 5 if you take max PR idun you just cannot die. Grind until one pkoe cds becomes active (all you need for next stage) and then kill her normally by spinning.
Stage 6 snipe with pkoe (instant death ~ wham bang thank you Mam!)

Re: [Strategy] Valley of Cryptids
santa pr sean pkoe pkof *** pr idun ally
doable with santa team with only 4 cards
stall everything on stage 1 - quite easy with pr idun.
normal rune spinning stage 2 very easy, use santa if you want
stage 3 PKOE or PKOF doesnt really matter
stage 4 burst with pr sean - overkill, (connect 5 fire runes to be safe)
stage 5 stall back CD - super easy, 70% 2CD is nothing with pr idun
stage 6 PKOE or PKOF for solar, santa+sean for left and right wolfs, u also still have idun's active heal(dont even need)
stage 7 snipe with PKOE/PKOF
Super easy with easily obtained cards.

Re: [Strategy] Valley of Cryptids
Ah, I had one colour 'free' so I managed to stall. Then again I've been with the Fates team since I started (and thought the world of them before ahem mono teams), kinda got used to it.

Re: [Strategy] Valley of Cryptids
I've passed this stage a few days ago using dark tumbler team. It's almost a guarantee to pass with 0 diamonds. The setup that I used were
Odin (low level), John, Lubu, baby PKOD, Teen Valkyrie + PR Idun Ally.
The only thing to take note here is that your HP shouldn't go beyond 9086 or else the tumbler effect won't kick in. Also, John must be able to deal above 100k damage.
With this team, it is a 100% 0 diamond pass, once you've passed the first round. The first round is the only round that's capable of killing you. If your hp is around 8k, you can take 2 simultaneous hits from the mobs. However, if there are 3 mobs of the same cd, it is a must to kill off 1 of them first. I got unlucky on my first try where there were three cd1 mobs and i failed to kill one of them (darn you bad board arrangements and spinning skills). I managed to pass on my second try with 0 diamonds. Just make sure John is ready at Honeymoon stage and Solar Sirius stage.
Hope this helps!
