At first glance, the stage seem extremely difficult with many monsters with high defenses and high hp's with insane damages. However, this stage can be easily passed with 0 to minimal diamonds with the correct team used.

My personal setup that I'm going to try is [Strategy+Sharing] Condescension of Celestial Master SM 60px-378i[Strategy+Sharing] Condescension of Celestial Master SM 60px-118i[Strategy+Sharing] Condescension of Celestial Master SM 60px-408i[Strategy+Sharing] Condescension of Celestial Master SM 60px-376i[Strategy+Sharing] Condescension of Celestial Master SM 60px-139i[Strategy+Sharing] Condescension of Celestial Master SM 60px-378i

The reasoning is fairly simple: Able to burst more than 700k, Defense breaker and Damage Reduction. The strategy is as below:

R1: Stall for cd.

R2: Burst with Carrie + Pisces + PR Molly

R3: Stall for cd.

R4: Kill off 99999 ATK sword immediately, followed by heart converter sword and stall for cd. Activate Urd if necessary (which in most cases, is). Alternately, kill off heart converter sword first with PKOE, then ensure all members attack 99999 ATK sword every turn while recovering. (Thanks larken for the tips  Wink )

R5: Kill off fire witch immediately, stall for cd.

R6: Stall for cd/grind through/arrange runes.

R7: Burst, recover, repeat.


....And that's theoretically a 0 diamond team. I'll try it asap once the SM arrives and report back if the above strategy works. Given the rather difficult stages in this SM, what team are you guys going to go in with, and what are the strategies you guys going to use? Very Happy

UPDATE: Cleared with 0 diamonds using this team.

seems to be some differences when compared to the thread at tosforums.

Stage 1:
Water Crab: HP 150K Damage 8503 CD 2 Initial CD 1
Kunlun Taoist: HP 245K Damage 14358 CD 2 Initial CD 2

Stage 2:
Salamander Golem: HP 703K Damage 3325 CD 1 The enemy will full heal after every turn. Attack increases after each time the enemy attacks.


Stage 3:
Archimandrite of Fire: HP 222K Damage 15023 CD 1 Can only be damaged up to 20% of the enemy's Max HP


Stage 4:
The Evil Sword: HP 36 Damage 99999 CD 5 150K Defense, Initial CD 6, If 5 or more runestones of an attribute are dissolved, no damage will be dealt.
The Evil Sword: HP 24 Damage 1200 CD 1 150K Defense, Every turn, Heart runestones will be converted to Fire runestones.
The Evil Sword: HP 23 Damage 2400 CD 1 150K Defense, The enemy disregards the level of damage lessened and the skills of Tumbler
The Evil Sword: HP 22 Damage 4800 CD 1 150K Defense, Can only be damaged up to 25% of the enemy's Max HP, excluding the use of Active skills.

Stage 5:
Kunlun Taoist: HP 38 Damage 8147 CD 1 Defense 300K, Can only be damaged up to 10% of the enemy's Max HP, excluding the use of active skills.
Evolved Fire Witch: HP 55 Damage 15320 CD 2 Defense 300K, The enemy's attack will disregard all types of damage reduction.

Stage 6:
Randeng: HP 600K Damage 8850 CD 4 Defense 15K, The enemy attacks twice instead of once.

Stage 7:
Boss: HP 3.09Million Damage 17890 CD 1 Every turn, 1 random runestone will be converted into a weathered rune. When the weathered rune is moved, movement will be stopped immediately and 3000 damage will be dealt.

This is annoyingly hard.

Alright just finished the sm. The info posted by me and the forums is similar, where I've confirmed that R3 indeed has 2 hp bars. Finished with 0 diamonds using the above team!

Passed with 1 Diamond (last stage) with the following team. All members have max level.
Pisces (3), Beowulf (17), PR Verdandi (6), Elizabeth (16), PR Molly (12), Pisces (2).

Replaced Beowulf with Freyr to give the team more hp and rcr. Failed on my first attempt because I could not burst through stage 4. Tried 2 more times and was able to pass with 0 Diamond both times.

Personally, I feel this SM battle is easier than some of the other SM battles in which luck was a more important factor.

Yea, I rechecked forums and found that they corrected the data a few hours later. One thing that I didn't check while I was doing the SM was the ability for the third sword - is it actually halving fiend dmg, or ignore defense? Any idea/confirmation?

Strategy/Reccomendations
Passed SM with 1 diamond.
Team: Pisces (5), Molly PR (Cool, PR Urd (15), Cassandra (Cool, PR Verd (6), Pisces (2).

Ideally, if you have beowulf, carrie, or elizabeth, use them over Cassandra. I didn't have those three, so I stuck with Cassandra - which requires very precise cd counting. Also, there's pros and cons between using PR Verd and PKOE, which I will go into later.

Rundown:
This SM heavily favors a water defense team. Possible to do it with other teams, but prepare to use more than a few diamonds.

Stage 1: Nothing special. Between the two damage reduction leaders, the damage is pretty manageable. Kill off the Taoist first, and the rest of the stage is meant for you to store all cds.

Stage 2: The burst sequence is pretty normal if you have carrie/beo/liz - activate them (wait a turn for carrie), and use your convertors followed by Molly PR. This is basically a damage gatekeeper stage, if you can't deal 700k in one turn, you can't clear the SM with your team. If you're using a similar team and fail your burst, it's probably best to restart the stage and try again. The boss will slowly increase his attk every turn, and eventually start hitting twice, from what I read at the forums, so that rules out even Diablo teams. For Cassandra users, this is really tricky even if you have a min cd one. Basically I activated Cassandra right away after reaching this stage, and let the mob hit me about 4-5 times (can't remember) without any chance of rcr (with the 2 defense leaders, you'd survive). Then on the last turn, I used all my bursts and killed it.

Stage 3: Overall, if you can make it to stage 3 with dual pisces, this should be another easy stage, meant for storing cd. Note: for those who brought Verd, just activate it. It'll be a while before you hit stage 3, and you can drag abit longer (and have an easier time while storing cd cuz of the hp drain). It's also better to store cd on the first bar (since its on cd 2) than on the 2nd bar. Cassandra: Here's the tricky part: The boss most likely starts with cd2 - and remember, if your Cassandra has cd 8 - there's still 3 more turns before you can deactivate it (that's why I let the S2 boss hit me until near death) and heal. I used urd here - and used those turns to keep as many heart runes as I could. When Cassandra's active comes up, deactivate her, heal up, and you can start the cd grind again. If you don't manage to turn Cass off in time, either try to burst the 2 hps bars down, or pay 1 diamond as the deactivation fee  Sad 

Stage 4 + 5:
Here's the part where PR Verd and PKOE users will have a different experience, and the confirmation that the third sword doesn't ignore defense is crucial.

For PR Verd users - this is simple, activate it - the stage is cleared. But here's the thing - the next stage has the witch, 55 hp, 16k attk that ignores dmg reduction. She starts at cd2. Remember that Verd has a min cd of 6 possible? Between URD's 3 turns and the mob's 2 turn cd, you're one short for activating Verd again - which means, you either have to burst 200k for one card (the defense is 300k, but you're water, and she's fire) - or spend a diamond. Unfortunately, I didn't manage the 200k despite activating Cass again - so there's where my diamond went. If you fail the burst, the min cd Verd would clear the stage - but keep in mind that for every 2 more cd above 6, you will need to spend another diamond here. Meaning, if your PR Verd is cd8 - its 2 diamonds, cd10, 3 diamonds, cd 12, 4 diamonds.

For PKOE users: Stage 4 - there's 2 choices you have here.
1 - PKOE the 99999 attack sword. Target the heart convertor sword (like Grandz's strat), kill it off asap. Use Urd's active to buy you some turns. It should be pretty manageable, and even more so if the third sword is confirmed to halve fiend attack and not ignore defense. Without Urd's active and if the 3rd sword ignores defense - that's 4800 dmg a turn - without any hearts, which could cost some diamonds.

Option 2 - Given that the 99999 atk sword is on cd 6, and has 36 hp - it is killable using normal runes - provided that you have water AND earth runes every turn. If you are confident of doing it, you could PKOE the heart convertor sword, and kill the 99999 atk sword using rune spinning. The damage from the remaining swords is neglible (really not recommended).

But most important of all - you need PKOE's active ready by the time you enter stage 5 - for the witch. After you kill the witch, you can grind the other guy down easily (its only about 2k dmg a turn).

Stage 6:
For PR Verd users, this is almost a giveaway stage. Just activate her once, and you'd be healing 1.3k every turn. Randeng hits for 2x2k every 4 turns. Do the math, lol. Good place to store cds if you want to, or just burn through (not recommended).

For PKOE users: A little tougher, but very manageable (calling it tough is a bit of a misnomer). You just need to heal 4 k every 4 turns. Easy, no?

Stage 7:
Between the dmg reduction leaders, TTJZ (the boss) hits for 4k++ on cd1.

For PR Verd users: Very very easy with almost no chance of dying. Use PR Verd's active whenever it's up to stack the HP drain. Spin carefully at first - don't hit any weather runes. Once 3 stacks of PR Verd's ability is on the boss, you can go without hearts for many many turns and still not die at all. From there on, it's just a grind.

For PKOE users: Requirement - heal 4k dmg every turn and grind. It's possible and very doable, but its definitely higher pressure here using PKOE compared to using PR Verd, if you're unlucky with the heart runes and/or make mistakes hitting the weathered runes. But otherwise, business as usual.

You can see that using either PKOE or Verd has their pros and cons for the last 4 stages. Verd makes stage 6-7 extremely easy, but is trickier to handle in 4 and 5, and vice versa for PKOE. Personally, if PR Verd isn't at cd6, I'd go with PKOE due to stage 5 - unless you're confident of bursting 200k there.

Alternatively, instead of using a drain active on S4, its probably easier to try and break the sword's 150k def using normal bursts, saving PR verd's active for S5 for a 0 diamond clear. Probably easier, except you have to make sure that you don't join 5 water runes up.

I ran this with something similar:
Pisces (leader) + PR Molly + PR Verd + Freyr + Carrie + Pisces (ally)
following Kitty’s post on the tosforums

If I go all out to burst, I can break through the def on both Stage 2 and Stage 5
In order of activation: Carrie (wait a turn), Pisces, Pisces, Freyr then PR Molly for a gigantic luau
So yeah, the above also means I used PR Verd on Stage 4
Didn’t really pay much attention to anything, just followed it like a recipe!

It wasn’t all that scary actually except for the last stage
The weathered rune means I don’t sometimes clear enough runes to get hearts to drop down
Had to use PR Molly to help out

I totally forgot about the third sword. The information provided earlier was that it halves fiends' atk.

After trying out the SM myself, I can confirm that the third sword does in fact ignore damage reduction and tumbler skills. I was like 'what? no damage redcution?' when it hit me. I've updated the battle info in the first post. Thanks larken for pointing out! Very Happy

Thanks for the update, GranDz. Then I think for PKOE users on stage 4, not having Urd's active will most likely result in 1 death unless heaven heart drops occur; 4800 dmg from all three swords on cd 1, a pisces dual team has about 14k hp, and you would need 4 turns minimum to kill off the heart convertor sword.

Those running with PKOE will need to take note; either Urd is required, or you will have to break def using raw dmg.

This is not so much a guide and a log on my fight…. (but I guess it could be used as such)

After a zillion million tries I managed to clear this with 1 diamond. (And that’s only because I had a total brain freeze and killed the phoenix too quickly for PR Verd’s CD to regenerate.)
It’s as if my mind is conditioned to spend diamonds on SM fights – WTF!!!

Anyway, the team I used is a variant of the popular ones that’s been bandied about:

Pisces leader and ally
Carrie
PR Freyr (PR not really needed)
PR Verdani
Cancer

The key battle is S2. If you can burst the red golem to death that’s it… its just safe grind from there.
If you can’t burst golem to death just restart the fight.

S1 store Cds
S2 Burst – Carrie 1st round, then 2nd round Cancer, Pisces x2 and Freyr activations (in this order)
S3 grind and store (I didn’t do this and killed the bird, this subsequently got me killed in S5, FFS what a brain lapse)
S4 Cancer for instant wipe
S5 PR Verd for instant wipe
S6 is Grind and store (with double pisces and PR verd’s active this guy has 4 cds can’t even dent you.)
S7 grind and heal. (Get 3 stacks on Verd ASAP to make things easier, beware the weathered runes!)

I used 1 diamond in what is easily a 0 diamond clear.

But to be technical about it, it can be considered that I use 5 diamonds in total.

2 x limited time 2 potions (they are free but hey, a stamina refill is worth 1 diamond each)
1 x account level up (I levelled up thus refilled max stamina, I guess this can be considered 1 diamond)
1 x diamond stamina refill (I was still trying to optimise the right team configuration and needed to use 1 diamond, I almost gave up at this point)
1 x total brain lapse during the fight (cost me 1 diamond)

The good side effect of all the stamina refills is that I managed to spend the excess stamina from potions on guild quest and farming SS!
